Stardance is a lively male bottlenose dolphin, living in Scotland’s Moray
Firth. In common with dolphins worldwide he faces a multitude of threats
including marine pollution, fisheries bycatch and noise disturbance, all of
which severely affect the wellbeing and survival of individuals.
Care
for the Wild International (CWI) supports the Cetacean Research and Rescue Unit
(CRRU) and their benign research into the bottlenose dolphins living in the
Moray Firth. The insights CRRU’s marine biologists are gaining into the
dolphins’ world will help us conserve them more effectively. But this is
long-term project and further help is needed.
You can help by adopting
Stardance. By doing so you will also help to maintain the dedicated marine
mammal rescue service, operated by CRRU, which saves many stranded dolphins,
whales and porpoises from unnecessary death every year.
For just
£24.95 you can adopt Stardance for one year.
Packs will be despatched within 10 working days of receipt of order.
